Other Details to Note

Each cabin offers its own unique features; however, Destination U PMG provides the following baseline amenities at every property: a starter supply of hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, and laundry pods. Guests are responsible for any additional quantities needed. Please note that we do not provide perishable or consumable items such as coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. Pets are welcome! This cabin allows up to two pets for a flat fee of $50. Please ensure your pets are added to your reservation. If you’re unsure how to do this, contact us and we’ll be happy to assist. This cabin is located within the Twin Arch development. While neighboring cabins are nearby, this one still offers a private, secluded feel. Construction may occasionally take place in the area—typically on weekdays during daytime hours—and some noise may be heard. We do not have access to construction schedules. Important Road Information: The road leading to the cabin is steep! I repeat… STEEP. The steepest sections are paved, and the remainder is well-maintained gravel. It is passable in a compact 2WD vehicle under normal conditions. However, snowy or icy weather makes the road difficult for ANY vehicle. Private parking is available at the cabin. There is NO WiFi at this property, but cell service is generally strong due to nearby towers. The cabin uses city water, which is safe for drinking and all other uses.

House Rules

✸✸SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT & RULES✸✸ BY BOOKING A RENTAL AT THE PREMISES, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS: 1. Check-in Time: After 3:00 PM EST. 2. Check-out Time: No later than 11:00 AM EST. If you fail to check out by this time on your last scheduled day at the Premises, you may be liable for the cost of an extra night. 3. Security Deposit: Guests will provide the deposit as laid out by the booking platforms for potential damages. The deposit will be returned less any amount deducted to cover damages. If the damages exceed the deposit amount, you may be liable for any shortage. 4. Cancellation Policy: The cancellation policy will be enforced per the policy of the booking platform. 5. Management Hours and Communication Method: All communications shall be sent and received through the booking platform. Our office hours are typically 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (EST) Monday through Friday. Management will be available on weekends to respond on an as-needed basis and will attempt to return any messages as quickly as possible on weekends. 6. Maintenance Problems: During your stay, promptly report any maintenance problems through the booking platform. Maintenance may enter the premises to make requested repairs even if you are not home. Please be aware of this upon requesting maintenance to come to the premise. 7. Smoking Policy: No smoking or vaping. Smoking or vaping is not permitted at the Premises at any time. The outdoor areas are also non-smoking areas. Evidence of smoking will result in an additional minimum $250 cleaning fee post-checkout. 8. Parking: You may park in the dedicated parking area of the Premises only. Please do not park on the gravel road or in the grass without permission. 9. Garbage: Please discard garbage in the proper receptacle that is provided. 10. General and Safety Rules: ✸ Fires are not allowed anywhere inside of the Premises. Any unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $60.00 plus damages. Fireworks cannot be used on the grounds or balconies at the Premises. ✸ Possession or use of illegal narcotics is prohibited. ✸ No tampering with fire/burglar alarm equipment and devices ✸ No underage consumption of alcoholic beverages on the Premises and no contributing to the delinquency of minors. ✸ Do not leave windows and doors open while operating air conditioning. ✸ The refrigerator/freezer temperature settings should be set in the middle position for optimal performance. Please do not adjust their settings. 11. Power, Mechanical Failures & Closures: During your stay, if there is a failure of an item at the Premises, such as mechanical failures or service provider failures, we will make every effort to fix said item, but we are under no legal requirement to do so. We are not responsible for service outages caused by private vendors, such as the electricity provider, water and garbage provider, internet provider, cable provider, etc. 12. Age Restriction: Primary renter must be at least 21 years of age, and have a government issued photo ID on file with the booking platform. You cannot book if you will not be staying the entire booking period. Guests under the minimum age will be considered on a per-occurrence basis. Please message us prior to booking. 13. Outdoor Security Camera: There is an outdoor security camera mounted on the exterior of the structure facing the driveway. This is the only camera located on the Premises and is used for security purposes only. It records video and sound. 14. Occupancy: If more people of any age at any point in time are brought to the Premises that were not included on the original reservation, without prior written permission, you will be asked to leave the Premises without a refund or we will enforce a $75.00 per person per night fee for each additional guest. Please make sure you enter the correct number of guests at the time you make your reservation. If you decide after your reservation that you need to add more guests and it is still within our guest limit, please message us and we will be happy to accommodate. 15. Furnishings: Please do not move furniture, including TV’s or other electronic equipment, from present location. If you remove accessories to protect children, they should be replaced prior to departure. Do not remove outdoor furniture from its present location. 16. Linens: Bed, bath and kitchen linens are provided for your convenience. Please make sure all linens, towels and other items are left and are not removed from the Premises. Items missing after your departure are subject to being billed to the credit card on file. 17. Forgotten Items: Items left in the Premises or car during your stay are not the responsibility of the property managers. If your personal items are left in or at the Premises after your departure, you will be notified if they are found. They can be returned to the address you specify. There will be a shipping and handling fee to return. There will be a $25.00 service charge in addition to postage for any items that have to be mailed back to you. 18. Keys: Where applicable, keys to the Premises are to be left on the kitchen counter. There will be a charge of $25.00 for each lost key. 19. Electronics (where applicable): Televisions, VCR’s, CD players, etc. are pre-programmed. Equipment is not to be modified in any way or relocated. Non-compliance will result in a $25.00 reprogramming fee. The TVs are smart TVs and equipped with streaming services for you. Please use your own login credentials for your streaming needs and remember to log out of these services when you depart. Please remember to leave the remotes next to each TV when not in use. At check in please notify us immediately if electronic equipment is not working properly. 20. Internet: The internet available is typically reliable and sufficient for our guests' needs. The internet speeds should provide quality HD streaming on all TVs. 21. HVAC System: The HVAC system utilizes a ductless dual-inverter unit. Feel free to adjust the settings within the limits to make yourself comfortable using the wall control provided. 22. Hot Tubs: Our hot tubs are cleaned/filled after each guest. If you check in on the same day a guest checks out, the water may be cooler than desired the first night. This is because the new water goes in the hot tub from a cold spigot, and it takes time for the hot tub to heat it up. To help assist in heating it up as quickly as possible, please ensure the insulated hot tub cover remains on the hot tub and the jets stay open to allow water flow over the heating element. Water temperature cannot be guaranteed immediately after filling. 23. Septic System: The house runs on a septic tank system. Please ONLY flush toilet paper down the toilets. Please use the trash cans for baby wipes, feminine products, tissues, napkins, cotton balls, Q-Tips, etc. Please do not put food or grease in the kitchen sink or disposal. All food waste should be place in trash cans provided. 24. Owner’s Closets: Please do not attempt to open or tamper with the owner’s closets. If it is discovered the closets were tampered with, an additional fee of $100.00 plus damages will be charged to you. 25. Kitchen: Use the cutting boards provided when cutting food items, instead of cutting directly on the countertops. Please wash all your dirty dishes before your departure. If an excessive amount of dirty dishes is left behind, an additional cleaning fee of $50.00 will be charged to the guest. 26. Maid Service: No daily maid service is provided. 27. Disturbances: Occupancy and use of the Premises shall not disturb nearby guests. Quiet hours are 11:00 PM EST to 7:00 AM EST. If guests are found to be having a party that is or could be disruptive to other guests, we have the right to terminate the rental agreement and ask disruptive guests to leave the Premises. We had a great stay at this tiny cabin in Stanton and used it as our home base for hiking in the Red River Gorge. The location was excellent—easy access to town and trailheads, and being close to the Nada Tunnel was a fun bonus. The road up to the cabin is steep and narrow, but we had no issues at all in our Honda Odyssey minivan. The cabin was exactly as advertised: small, cozy, and perfect for my wife, our 3-year-old, and me. Our daughter absolutely loved the ladder and loft space for playing and sleeping. We all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, grilling on the deck, and taking in the great views. We’d definitely stay here again.
