Stayed at Tyler’s place during a climbing trip to the Red and I cannot overstate how magnificent this space is. The cabin is so clean and spacious, even with all the gear we brought with us, it felt comfortable and uncluttered. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils/cooking implements and we loved having a washer and dryer to refresh our clothes. The cabin sits on a ton of land - the expansive lawn was perfect for launching a tennis ball with my dog post-climb or throwing a football around with friends while waiting for dinner. The hot tub was squeaky clean and an excellent place to relax and stargaze at the end (or start) of the day. Tyler was super responsive and communicative, proactively checking in with us to see if we needed anything. I’d highly recommend this cabin and host to anyone planning a visit to the area!

What an amazing place. This accommodation exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed the outdoor extras like the ping pong table, corn hole boards, and hot tubs! We also had a nice time exploring the river trail beauty. A top notch barndo. Everything was super nice.

We absolutely loved this spot! The heated bed/blanket was a game changer! We all slept great! We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, ages 9 & 10. They absolutely loved this experience!

Our family of five, Grandma, and our two fuzzy boys all stayed in Destination U’s converted barn. We chose this location because of its beautiful private community setting filled with cabins, converted barns, and Scandinavian homes surrounded by walking trails through tall grasses and wildflowers, a stunning little creek area with the softest sand that we spent hours exploring and playing with our kids and pups, and the onsite EV charger. We had all the added comforts one could hope — comfortable beds and pillows, cozy family space where we played board games, a backyard fire pit where we roasted s’mores and ours kids performed talent shows for us while we enjoyed the fire and star gazing, and a washer/dryer with detergent provided. We had a perfect little fall break with our kids and a first time traveling with our fuzzy boys. We highly recommend staying at Destination U and intend to be back for more rocking climbing and hiking adventures in the future!.

Everything was just as picture! Heated blankets.. comfy beds.. clean bathrooms with free feminine items. Free fire wood! Within minutes of Miguel’s- Toad’s & Daniel Boone Coffee Shop! Quiet and peaceful. It’d be nice to be able to kayak on the river but honestly not a big deal at all. The area was clean and well kept.

This was an awesome place. I would highly recommend it. It was amazingly clean with wonderful amenities. There is a river walk behind the place that enjoyed our first day. We enjoyed the common area playing ping pong and corn hole and our private hot tub. Great place to come back to after a day of hiking.

Beautiful barndo with a nice hot tub and fire pit on location. Nice open space surrounding it and a peaceful atmosphere. The place was clean and beds were comfy! Nice decor and a super responsive host when I had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

We have already discussed staying here every time we visit RRG. The location is close to so much and the cabin is very cozy. The host (although I didn't find time to respond during my stay) reached out to check in and seemed so open and communicative. The cabin was perfect, very bright, clean and had more than enough space for myself and our two corgis to stay the weekend. The hot tub was perfect for after a long day of hiking and we even used it on the crisp morning on our last day. My only regret is not using the fire pit. Thank you all for making our experience so great!

We enjoyed our Glamping experience. We stayed in tent #7. It had everything we needed for our quick weekend hiking trip. Grills and picnic tables are available onsite near the bath houses for cooking but the tents themselves only have microwaves for cooking. Fine for us since we planned to eat at Toads and Miguel’s while there. Loved the atmosphere for a nice fire and relaxing in the evening. Didn’t use, but loved the onsite volleyball and horse shoes available and would love to bring a group back and rent multiple units.
